Fossil description
This exquisite museum painting features an artist's rendering of a dromaeosaur, accompanied by an authentic, completely natural fossil tooth of the same type of dinosaur, popularly known as a "raptor." The fossil comes from the renowned Kem Kem Valley, Morocco, a region rich in Cretaceous theropod remains.
The tooth, although small (1 cm), retains a sharp serration and well-defined enamel, suggesting it belonged to a juvenile individual or to a specific area of the jaw. The presentation in a 17 cm frame allows the piece to be highlighted as a decorative and educational element, ideal for paleontological collections, thematic display cases, or museums.
The combination of art and real fossils makes this painting a unique piece, capturing the essence of the agile predators and hunters of the past.
