Fossil description
Exceptional fossil specimen of Scapanorhynchus rapax, an ancient shark from the Mitsukurinidae family, a distant relative of the modern goblin shark (Mitsukurina owstoni). This species is uncommon in the phosphate deposits of Morocco, making this piece a paleontological rarity. The tooth is presented complete and perfectly integrated into its original matrix. It retains much of its enamel and shows natural cracks that have been professionally filled to preserve its structure. An ideal piece for specialized collections or thematic displays on Mesozoic marine fauna.
