Spectacular vintage chess set and figures in bronze/pewter, representing Christian and Muslim troops from the late Middle Ages during the Crusades. The pieces feature a high level of detail, set on a black velvet base. They are in very good condition despite their age. The game board depicts war scenes in very good infographic quality and comes with its interior box lined with red velvet where the figures are stored. An important attachment with extensive photographic detail is included for assessment and determination based on their condition. The packaging will be specialized for large volume and weight. Shipping outside the European Community or Europe and independent shipping are not included in the listed price on Catawiki and will incur an additional shipping cost. This makes an ideal Christmas gift.
