Baule - Baule

Elegant carving of a spirit spouse, carved with particularly fine detail, crescent scarification lines on strong calves, arms in relief along long torso with particularly long defined fingers. Head is adorned with two dome sections of hair on sides, short crested hairdo has tiny opening in front, and face and neck detailed with high relief scarification.
Burnished dark brown patina. Custom metal base.
