Column - Marmo di Carrara - Scolpita - 1910-1920

Elegant marble column/pedestal in Carrara marble carved with charming pearl-gray shades and highly decorative natural veining.
A highly striking object, created in the early 20th century (circa 1900–1920), entirely handcrafted from a single block, with turned sections and central decorative rings.

The column features an shaped octagonal base, a slender shaft with a slightly tapered profile, and a smoothed quadrangular top, ideal for displaying sculptures, vases, busts, lamps, or collectible objects.
The marble, with its characteristic interweaving of white and gray veins, creates a very refined visual effect, typical of the materials used in Italian noble interiors of the period.
