I am selling my large collection of rare, vintage tire pressure testing devices. These are all original items, stored in a glass display case. I started this collection in 1990. Prior to that, these objects had already been in use with their respective private owners for 20 to 30 years. They show normal signs of age-related wear, but no damage, and everything is original and comes with the original protective covers or boxes, many also with descriptions.

A description of a MOTORMETER tester shows a crack. The collection includes, among other items, two original Messko testers for the Porsche 356, which are shown separately. There is also an original REUTTER plaque for the Porsche 356, which comes from a 1960 356A Cabrio and was mounted on the right front fender. REUTTER was not only a body builder for the Porsche 356; they also manufactured the hardtops for the Cabrio version of the 356.

It is also worth mentioning the MESSKO tester for the Borgward Hansa 1500. Borgward was at the same quality standard as Mercedes Benz at the time, which is even evident in the MESSKO tire pressure tester, which is completely identical to that of Mercedes Benz.

Everything shown in the photos, such as literature and so on, is part of the auction and will be included. I would be pleased if someone continues and expands this unique collection, but it is also suitable for collectors who, for example, want to complete their Porsche or Mercedes toolkit with the original devices from MESSKO.
