Splendid set consisting of a jug and two large cups with saucers. Postmodern style in ceramic. Designed by Marco Zanini for Flavia Montelupo, for the Hollywood collection. The distinctive design of the cups, which fit the foot into the dedicated space on the blue saucer, and the eccentric rounded design with a flat backrest on the jug, clearly show the influence of the Memphis Group, of which Zanini was a founding member. This aesthetic proved to be the most impactful design style of the 1980s and early 1990s.
All in glossy black ceramic with blue saucers and a blue handle on the jug.
Under the plates and under the jug, inscription Hollywood collection, made in Italy by Flavia Montelupo and designer Marco Zanini.
In good vintage condition, perfect saucers, some small chips on one cup, and minor color losses, as shown in the photos.
The tall pitcher measures 23 cm in height and 20 x 20 cm in width.
The cups are 9 cm tall and 16 cm wide.
