Authentic fossil fragment of the frill (neck shield) of Triceratops, originating from the world-famous Hell Creek Formation in Montana, United States. This formation is among the most iconic Late Cretaceous sites in the world and provides the best-documented Triceratops material known.
The fragment measures 10 × 6 × 4 cm and displays the characteristic bone structure of the frill, one of the most recognizable and iconic anatomical features of Triceratops. Fossil frill fragments of this size, with clear identification and known origin, are particularly rare on the collector's market.
To prevent further deterioration and crumbling, the fossil has been professionally conserved with Paraloid B-72. This internationally recognized, reversible conservation agent is standardly used in museum and scientific collections and ensures stability without compromising authenticity.
