Description from the seller

This vintage Japanese knife set consists of a Nakiri and a Deba, two classic and complementary knives from traditional Japanese cuisine. Both knives are sharp and ready to use, with a beautiful, honest patina that highlights their age and authentic use.

The Nakiri (total length approx. 31 cm) has a straight and wide blade, ideal for slicing, chopping, and finely processing vegetables. The knife operates very controllably and allows for clean, straight cuts, typical of vegetable preparations.

De Deba (total length approx. 25 cm) is designed to be more compact and heavier, intended for fish preparation, filleting, and working around bones. The robust blade offers stability and precision for more forceful cutting.

Both knives are equipped with wooden handles and feature traditional Japanese maker's marks on the blade. A characterful set for enthusiasts of Japanese knives, vintage kitchenware, or artisanal steel with a history.
