Description from the seller
Set of 6 Richard Ginori plates – floral decoration from the 1960s.
Elegant service consisting of 6 ceramic plates by Richard Ginori, approximately 20 cm in diameter, decorated in a style pattern.
Mondovi is one of the most iconic floral motifs of Tuscan craftsmanship after the war.
The design, with the large stylized flower in shades of intense red and olive green outlined by a delicate gold border, perfectly echoes the graphic lines of the Mondovì collections, which are now among the most sought after by enthusiasts of vintage Italian ceramics. The simple, clean green border provides balance to the central decoration, making the plates highly decorative and versatile.
On the back, there is the Richard Ginori – Doccia – 'Decoro Manterbubes' – Made in Italy mark, typical of the period between the 1950s and 1970s.
Conditions:
One plate has a visible chip as shown in the photo; the other five are in excellent overall condition, with normal signs of age and handcrafted production.
Measures
Diameter: about 20 cm
A set with authentic charm from Italian design of the mid-twentieth century, ideal for both everyday use and collection or display.
