Impressive and very beautiful Amsterdam School Art Deco pendulum clock case from the 1920s-1930s Art Deco period.
The clock case is made of beautifully figured red-brown oak and is nearly in mint condition, which is exceptional for a 100-year-old clock.
At the front, both side pieces are slightly wavy and positioned forward, creating a beautiful frame for the dial.
Of course, the brass dial immediately catches the eye. The numbers are sharp and intact, standing out beautifully against the dark background. The hands are sleek in the very characteristic Art Deco style.
The watch is authentic and original, and it runs excellently, as does the beautifully sounding chime on the half and full hours.
This clock is definitely a real eye-catcher, striking in shape and rarely found in this condition. A pendulum clock that deserves a beautiful spot in any interior.
