Description from the seller
Stunning solid silver rigid bracelet (bangle), richly decorated, featuring a central figurative medallion depicting a Buddhist deity (Guanyin / Avalokiteśvara), a symbol of compassion and wisdom in Sino-Tibetan iconography.
The central figure is finely carved in relief and entirely decorated with polychrome cloisonné enamel, featuring bright and harmonious colors (blue, green, pink, yellow), applied with great artisanal skill.
The deity is depicted seated on a lotus flower, holding a flower, surrounded by a richly enameled solar halo.
The body of the bracelet is made of solid silver with openwork, featuring complex and repetitive filigree work, typical of high-quality Asian artisanal productions.
On either side of the central medallion, the bracelet is decorated with natural green stones cut in cabochon (probably jade, chrysoprase, or aventurine), set flush.
The inside of the bracelet bears the marking “SILVER,” confirming the nature of the metal.
A decorative object and a characterful piece of jewelry at the same time, this item is distinguished by:
the quality of its execution
the richness of its decor
its strong visual impact
It is a statement piece, ideal for an Asian art collector or a jewelry enthusiast.
