Description from the seller
Enzo Mari creation – 1970s – deep yellow enameled cast
I propose this iconic 'La Mama' cocotte signed by Enzo Mari, made by Le Creuset in the 1970s. This piece is distinguished by its rectangular and elegant shape, true to Mari's unique design, and by its deep yellow color, rare and emblematic of that period.
‘La Mama’ combines functionality and aesthetics: it is perfectly suited for cooking, but also ideal for direct table service, retaining the heat of dishes and enhancing presentation.
Very good overall condition
To be regretted: a discreet chip (1 mm) on the outer edge of the tank and a micro-chip on the corner of one of the handles (see photos).
Enameled cast iron is in good condition; the enamel retains its shine, and the entire piece remains perfectly suitable for cooking and serving.
