Description from the seller

Floor lamp that emits both direct and indirect light with symmetrical and asymmetrical distribution. It features two vertical ash wood blades connected by chrome metal fittings. The blades rotate around a central tubular light source to allow for adjustable light emission. The base, made of raw black iron, is separated from the vertical blades by a collar. The adjustable, custom-developed linear LED light source can also be equipped with standard T8 LED tubes. Designed by Tobia Scarpa in 1963 and reintroduced in 2025, Seki-Han is a testament to his mastery in design and woodworking. The intricate construction is inspired by naval techniques to shape two wooden blades that now rotate around the light source. Even when fully closed, a thin thread of light remains visible, creating a very poetic effect. Named after a traditional Japanese rice dish served on special occasions, Seki-Han is a living presence where the materiality of light meets the tactility of wood.
