Ancient Egyptian steatite scarab pendant inscribed Neb-Imen-Re (the Sun god Amun-Re), from the New Kingdom (ca. 1550–1292 BC), with an integral suspension loop, size approx. 21 × 12.6 mm; in good condition, acquired in 2023 from a dealer in the Netherlands.

Ancient Egyptian steatite scarab pendant and inscription 'Neb-Imen-Re' (the Sun god Amon-Re), framed within an oval border on the flat underside. The pendant is complete with an integral suspension loop.
Size: ± 21 x 12,6 mm
Condition: good solid condition, wearable with care of an ancient artefact. The composition is balanced and deeply cut. Signs of wear consistent with age and use.
Certificate of Authenticity: available upon request (pdf-format).
Amon-Re is one of the most significant and fascinating deities in ancient Egyptian mythology, representing the combined power of two major gods: Amon (or Amun) and Re (or Ra).
