Ladies' sewing kit – Paris – genuine leather and brass – Belle Époque style (1900s)



Detailed description.

Elegant Parisian lady's sewing necessity from the late early 20th century, typical of the Belle Époque.

The box is covered with fine-grained, rich brown-red leather, and ornately decorated with riveted fittings in solid brass, including a side handle, decorative reinforcements, and a central cross-shaped plate.
The set demonstrates careful Parisian craftsmanship, as evidenced by the stamped punch mark 'PARIS' followed by initials on the interior hardware, characteristic of the specialized workshops for luxury cases and accessories of the period.

The interior is entirely furnished with original materials, dressed in ivory iridescent silk and violet leather, maintaining a beautiful chromatic harmony.
It includes a coherent set of sewing and grooming tools, including:
scissors with golden rings
polished steel tools
