Cassolette - Marble

A fine and large veined marble ornamental cassolette with gilt brass fixtures, circa 1880-1900, measuring circa 39cm in height and weighing 4,5Kg, tall scrolling foliate handles, a decorative bronze band depicting multiple putti chasing butterflies to the shoulder.

Condition: Very good, no significant damages or repairs. Minor chips to the corners of the foot, minor wear commensurate with age.
