Thanks to the separation of recording and streaming functions within a single integrated unit, Matrox Monarch HD ensures that the CDN (Content Delivery Network) delivers high-quality video to the audience while maintaining control over the archive's quality.
Starting from any HDMI input source, such as a camera or switcher, Matrox Monarch HD generates a compliant H.264 stream with RTSP or RTMP protocol. While encoding the video at an appropriate bitrate for live streaming, Matrox Monarch HD simultaneously records a high-quality MP4 or MOV file onto an SD card, USB memory, or network drive. Matrox Monarch HD can be remotely controlled from a computer or portable device using a common web browser.
