Vetreria francese - Vase (2) - Glass - Crystal

A rare pair of pharmacy or herbalist glass containers - antique, thick, transparent crystal with hand-blown bubbles and a lid from an old pharmacy. The upper part of the containers features finely faceted pinecone-shaped knobs, intricately cut with diamond facets (one knob has a dent), each with a U-shaped body supported by a curved stem and a circular foot, with dome-shaped lids. They can be used for amaretti, candies, or chocolates. They would also look good next to a bathtub as containers for bath salts. Dimensions: height 34.3 – 35.5 cm x diameter 17 – 17 cm. Made in France at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. The differences between the containers are minimal, as they are hand-blown. Both are in good condition.
