The Marantz HD-AMP1 is a high-quality amplifier with 2 x 70 W (4 ohms) and a beautiful, elegant, and classic appearance. Inside, you will find advanced switching amplifier technology, which is also equipped with the unique Marantz musical digital filtering (MMDF), offering two adjustable filter functions to cater to different tastes and types of music.

Classic appearance, modern connectivity options. The HD-AMP1 not only relies on the renowned Marantz sound but also offers a wide range of connection possibilities. With optical and digital coaxial inputs, and not to forget the USB-B port, you can stream music directly from your PC or Mac. iDevices can also be connected via the front USB port. Two analog inputs provide even more connection options.

The USB-B operates in asynchronous mode and supports not only 384 kHz/32-bit high-resolution audio but also DSD formats at 2.8 MHz, 5.6 MHz, and even 11.2 MHz for maximum performance and the most direct way to enjoy excellent quality. To ensure quality when connected to a computer, additional isolation has been applied around the USB-B input, reducing the likelihood of high-frequency noise generated by the computer from entering the HD-DAC1.

The Marantz HD-CD1 is a high-quality CD player and has the same compact size as the HD-AMP1 amplifier, making these two a perfect match. Marantz combines over 30 years of expertise in CD playback with the latest developments in digital audio technology. The HD-CD1 is the ideal partner for the HD-AMP1 amplifier or perfect as a compact CD player for any situation without compromising sound quality.

Despite its small size, the CD player utilizes state-of-the-art Marantz technology, similar to that found in the award-winning CD players. For example, the HD-CD1 features a high-resolution 192kHz/24-bit digital-to-analog converter from Cirrus Logic, a highly accurate system clock, and the renowned HDAM-SA2 amplifier modules, which are also used in the flagship Reference Series CD players and amplifiers.
