Ironic, with its lines deliberately reminiscent of Snoopy, the star of Charles M. Schulz's comic strips. But the shape is not an end in itself.
Snoopy is described as a 'table lamp originating from entirely new lighting concepts and therefore of a non-traditional shape.' Technology thus plays an important role in the outcome of this design project.
And indeed, every small detail is carefully studied. Snoopy consists of a base made of white marble, and it is here, inside the lamp where it has always been isolated and contained, that the electrical part is located. The switch and the transistor regulator for the light intensity, controlled by a small knob, are housed in the marble base.
