Description from the seller
This modern Frisian tail clock with moon phase indication is in very good condition. There are hardly any signs of use, and the clock is fully complete.
On the cap, there is a group of sculptures consisting of two angels with an atlas between them, supporting the world. The angels have all the attributes. On the sides, there are clear glass panels. Behind the door, there is a nameplate of WUBA/Warmink.
The hand-painted dial shows a mill with a house to the left of the moon phase indicator, and a church with a house to the right. Between them, there is another house and two boats on the water. In the center, an image of a house by the water with a boat is depicted. In the background, the outlines of a village are visible.
The clock is from UW, number 07149. It has recently undergone maintenance by a clockmaker. Brass weights hang from brass chains. The clock functions perfectly. It keeps time and strikes accurately.
The sliding plate is held in place with two pins. On the sliding plate, there is a brass decorative ornament. Behind this, the pendulum swings back and forth.
