This porcelain figurine depicts a cockatoo on a stylized tree trunk, crafted with great attention to feathering, posture, and expression. The bird is modeled realistically, with a lively appearance and a refined finish where the glaze beautifully follows the sculptural details. The dynamic crest and carefully crafted legs give the piece a strong presence.
Marked on the underside with the blue windmill logo of Karl Ens, used after the Second World War. This figurine was produced in the workshops of Volkstedt-Rudolstadt and fits within the tradition of high-quality German animal porcelain from the mid-20th century.
Height approximately 28 cm, in good condition with minor signs of use appropriate for its age.
