Bang & Olufsen BeoLab 12-2, the latest addition to the collection of special floor stands designed specifically to add rich auditory landscapes to watching flat-screen TVs. The BeoLab 12-2 is the ideal choice as rear speakers in a dream surround sound setup. With their compact form factor and sculptural elegance, finding space for them on most walls becomes an aesthetic pleasure rather than a decorative compromise. And despite their modest size, the new speakers are exceptionally extroverted and generous in their acoustic performance.

The BeoLab 12-2 joins the slightly larger BeoLab 12-3, which was previously launched as the company's first special wall speakers, specifically designed for rooms with flat-screen TVs. The winding shape of the new BeoLab 12-2, also designed by David Lewis Designers, remains true to its heritage and conceals a team of powerful components capable of handling any challenge. The new ICEpower amplifier technology and a streamlined power supply deliver up to 320 watts, more than enough to keep pace with the wildest action scenes Hollywood can conceive, and sufficient power to energize your music collection.

The choice of the flat, 6½ inch CosCone woofer is inspired by Bang & Olufsen's extensive experience in high-end automotive audio systems to ensure clear bass. Excellent low-frequency dispersion is achieved by directing the woofer towards the wall, but you wouldn't say so when looking at the compact design.

The sound spectrum is complemented by the ingenious tweeter driven by Bang & Olufsen's own Acoustic Lens Technology. This shape-retaining dynamo disperses high frequencies horizontally across a full 180 degrees, so you can sit anywhere in front of the speakers and still enjoy razor-sharp clarity.
