Indola red Bauhaus-style lamp in metal and Bakelite, originated from the Netherlands, 23 cm high, 31 cm in diameter, 3 kg, dating to 1950–1960, in good working order and used with minor signs of age, converted from a table heater.
Description from the seller
Here is only one! This space-age-like lamp from Indola fits perfectly in both modern and industrial settings. This item has been upcycled from a table heater into a stunning lamp, including a new LED head mirror lamp. The lamp stands on three conical Bakelite legs. Height is 23 cm, diameter 31 cm. The entire piece is in new condition and assembled with great attention to detail. The head mirror is adjusted so that the mirror aligns exactly with the top of the shade, preventing you from looking directly into the lamp. The shade is secured with three Bakelite knobs, which are perfectly aligned with the Bakelite legs supporting the base. The stainless steel grille has been recently polished. It dates back to the 1960s and was originally used as a table heater by the company Indola, founded in 1929 in the Netherlands. The head mirror distributes light beautifully along the top, sides, and bottom. The lamp is fitted with a new red cord with a slide switch and a flat plug, compatible with all European outlets. The table heater has been fully stripped; the heating coils and fan have been removed. The shade has been recently painted with two-component lacquer. The color of the shade is high-gloss red, known as fire brigade red. The housing is made of thick sheet steel, and the bottom is in a cream-white color. The last photo shows the heater in its original condition. A true metamorphosis! If you want to own this beautiful lamp, this is a rare opportunity. It is offered only once in this condition and will only increase in value over the years. This is not a lamp you find in stores. The lamp will be carefully packed and shipped within 24 hours. Wishing everyone happy holidays and all the best for 2026. And to my clients: thank you for your trust, Studio Light Design!
