Snuff box - Wood

Beautiful antique snuff box from the early 20th century (circa 1900-1920), made from rich walnut wood with a warm, deep patina that testifies to age and craftsmanship. The hinged lid is beautifully decorated with a relief scene in classical Greek style: two horses and a male figure, possibly inspired by mythological scenes such as a triumph or a hero with his steed. The engraving is detailed and carefully executed, giving the box an elegant and artistic appearance. On the underside, there is also a relief decoration of an angel with a lady – a romantic or allegorical motif often found in decorative art from this period. The box is fully handmade, with a smooth interior suitable for storing snuff tobacco. The hinge operates smoothly and the lid closes securely. Condition: Good antique condition with natural patina and minimal signs of use appropriate for its age (see photos for details). No cracks or restorations visible.
