Console table with marble top – Louis XVI style – mid-20th century
Elegant half-moon console table with a light marble top featuring natural veining. The structure is made of carved and gilded wood, decorated with foliate motifs and openwork branches along the lower band, typical of the Louis XVI style. The four legs are turned and fluted, slender, and tapered at the ends.
The marble top features a shaped profile and original polishing. The gilding shows a warm and even patina, with normal signs of aging that enhance its decorative character.
Estimated period: 1950s to 1960s.
Materials: golden and carved wood, natural marble top.
Ideal as furniture for entryways, living rooms, or hallways, perfect for displaying mirrors, vases, or decorative objects.
