Description from the seller

This wall mirror dates from the late 19th century to circa 1900–1910.
Style features
Richly carved wooden frame with floral and shell-like decorations
Soft flowing contours, typical of Louis XV / Rococo Revival
Warm, aged finish (originally possibly gilded or patinated).
Mirror glass looks old (light irregularities and oxidation spots).
This type of mirror was widely used in salons and hallways of stately houses in France, Belgium, and England around the turn of the century.
Antique carved wall mirror – circa 1890–1900 – Louis XV style

This impressive antique wall mirror exudes the grandeur of a classic country house interior. The regal wooden frame is richly hand-carved and features elegant rocaille and floral motifs, executed in the beloved Louis XV style.
The warm, aged patina and the original mirror glass give this piece an authentic look that cannot be reproduced. The mirror is ideally suited as a statement piece above a fireplace, sideboard, or in a stylish hall.
A characterful and decorative object for enthusiasts of French elegance, English country house style, and authentic 19th-century interiors.
Mirror glass is aged, but this actually gives the mirror more value.

Good antique condition with normal signs of age and use, appropriate for its age.
