Silver coin of the Republic of Panama dedicated to Vasco Núñez de Balboa, featuring his bust facing left, wearing armor and a decorated helmet, accompanied by vegetal branches on both sides. The reverse displays the Panamanian national coat of arms crowned by the eagle, flanked by floral motifs, with indications of the hallmark and silver content. A carefully crafted specimen, with good relief in the details of the helmet and coat of arms, and an attractive overall appearance typical of Panamanian commemorative coins from the mid-20th century.
