Rare cigarette case
Russian silver manufacture, rectangular shape, gilded inside and decorated externally with refined niello work (similar to inlay) featuring floral motifs. On the front plaque, within an oval reserve, is depicted a Russian Troika.

The work features stamps from Moscow, 1896, and bears marks from the Goldsmith Master Saltjkov Ivan Dmitrievic (active in Moscow from 1884 to 1897) and the Scholar Master Smirnov Aleksandr Alekseevic (active from 1878 to 1896).

Measurements: 9.5 × 6.2 cm.

Russian silver craftsmanship, rectangular in shape, with a gilded interior and externally decorated with a refined niello (inlay-like) floral design. On the front plaque, within an oval reserve, a Russian Trojka is depicted.

The piece bears Moscow hallmarks dated 1896, along with marks of the Master Silversmith Saltjkov Ivan Dmitrievic (active in Moscow 1884–1897) and the Master Assayer Smirnov Aleksandr Alekseevic (active 1878–1896).
