Each element bears witness to masterful craftsmanship of high quality, typical of the Neo-Classical / Second Empire style (mid to late 19th century). It features the emblematic decorative codes of this period:
refined moldings
Architectural answers inspired by antiquity.
Acanthus leaf friezes
massive circular pedestal
Carved covers or caps in the style of a pine cone or leafy button.

In good condition – some normal signs of use inside the compartments.
