AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Fossil: Original claw of a Spinosaurus aegyptiacus from Morocco.

Upper Chalk, Cenomanian, approximately 90 million years ago.

Due to its size, the conspicuous sail, and the crocodile-like skull, Spinosaurus is one of the most well-known dinosaurs to the public. In contrast, this genus was mainly known from fossils that were destroyed during World War II, except for some teeth and skull bones discovered more recently, as well as a relatively complete find from eastern Morocco, which was designated as the neotype.

Length Fossil 100 mm

Location: Kem-Kem Beds, Morocco

Original claw, lightly restored, no composite.

Fund comes from a collection liquidation.
