Three Italian euro coin year sets (2002, 2003, 2005) in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, not intended for circulation, totaling three items.
Description from the seller
2002
The Italian euro coin set of 2002 is the first official issue featuring the national sides, with iconic designs such as the 'Vitruvian Man' by Leonardo da Vinci on the 1-euro coin, reflecting the Italian Renaissance and pride, and a map of Europe on the other coins, all surrounded by the twelve EU stars, issued at the beginning.
2003
The Italian euro coin set from 2003 includes the regular coins (1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 cents, €1, €2) in 'Brilliant Uncirculated' (BU) quality, often packaged in a special set featuring national sides that depict icons such as Botticelli's 'Birth of Venus' (10c), Boccioni's sculpture (20c), Marcus Aurelius (50c), the Colosseum (5c), the Mole Antonelliana (2c), and Castel del Monte (1c), alongside a possible special €5 or €2 commemorative coin (such as the €1 for Leonardo da Vinci).
2005
Design: The national sides of the coins feature various iconic Italian artworks and landmarks, such as:
2 euros: The portrait of Dante Alighieri by Raphaël.
1 euro: Leonardo da Vinci's Vitruvian Man design.
Other coins: Images of artworks such as the 'Birth of Venus' by Botticelli, the statue of Emperor Marcus Aurelius, and various architectural symbols.
Euro coins use different metal alloys: the small coins (1, 2, 5 cents) are made of copper-plated steel, the middle coins (10, 20, 50 cents) use 'Nordic Gold' (copper, aluminum, zinc, tin), and the large 1 and 2 euro coins are bicolored (nickel, copper, brass).
