Description from the seller

Very massive, late 19th-century church candlestick. Originating from France.

The church or altar candlestick is made of solid, gilded bronze or brass and therefore weighs over 6.7 kilograms.

The candelabrum is constructed from a three-sided base with lion's paws, topped with a partly baluster-shaped, partly twisted stem. At the top is the candle holder with pin.

The candelabrum is 56cm tall, including the pin. The base measures 17x17x17cm. The diameter of the candle holder is 9.5cm. The weight is, as mentioned, over 6.7 kilograms.

The candlestick is in good to very good condition and shows only slight signs of use/wear. Please view the photos for a clear impression.
