Grand Oushebti / Shabti in ceramic with a blue-green glaze
Molded figurine, wearing a tripartite wig and a fake beard. The arms are shaped, crossed over the chest, with hands holding a pair of hoes.
Ancient Egypt, Basse Epoque, 26th/31st Dynasty, 664 to 332 BC.
Height 17.2 cm (height 19.2 cm with the base) - Excellent condition - restoration at the base
Highlighted by an elegant black wood base
Provenance: Germany, M.T.Z. gallery.
Previously: former collection of Professor Dr. Erik Jayme.
