Salt-glazed stoneware jug dating from the 18th century.
This very large salt-glazed stoneware vessel from the Netherlands was used to store liquids and bears the initials of its owner above the shoulder.
A beautiful gray patinated by time, it features simple lines that give it a sculptural appearance. Excellent condition, with a finely craquelled glaze.
Height: 39.4 cm – width: 20.2 cm – weight: 3.2 kg
Dating: End of the 17th century / First half of the 18th century.
Excellent condition of preservation
Provenance: the Netherlands, H.T.R. gallery.
