Exceptionaly rare intense orangy red crocoite reverse cepter - Height: 7.2 cm - Width: 0.4 cm- 2 g - (1)

An extreamly rare example of this uncomon lead chromium oxide, consiting of an aesthetic and very large crocoite single crystal 7,2 cm in length , that features a very very unusual reverse cepter on its termination which is perfectly formed and with no hoppering what so ever, an extreme rarity on any crocoite crystal of any size but more so in this larger end. The crystal it self is of very good quality featuring sharp features, briliant metalic luster that only extends to this specimen's tip and an intense orage interior with some translucency, that is appreciable even under normal lighting conditions. the piece is damage free save for the base which is broken.
