Luigi Filippo chair – Italy, mid-19th century – Inlays and turned legs
Elegant antique Luigi Filippo chair (circa 1850–1870), characterized by refined woodwork with rich decorative details typical of the style. The backrest, with a curved line, features carved motifs and inlaid inserts, while the seat frame is shaped and embellished with burl veneer applications. The turned front legs confirm the quality of craftsmanship.
The chair retains its original patina, a highly valued feature among collectors. It is structurally sound and stable. The seat is upholstered with a light fabric featuring a diagonal weave: used but still in good condition, making it ready for immediate use.
