A prehistoric flint scraper with a clearly worked cutting edge and visible knapping scars along the margin. The tool shows a natural dark-brown flint surface with lighter inclusions and a well-defined retouched edge typical of Mesolithic/Epipaleolithic industries.
Easy to hold between fingers, indicating use as a small working tool for cutting or scraping organic material.
From a private collection in the Netherlands. Originally found in the Waal river area (river gravel context). Natural patina, no modern retouch.
No export licence required for this type of object within the EU.
