15th‑century Rhineland glazed tripod vase from the post‑medieval culture, titled Vase tripode glaçuré – Rhénanie 15ème Siècle, in excellent condition with dimensions 14.6 cm width and 12.2 cm height.
Description from the seller
Medieval marmite from the classical period in ceramic with lead glaze.
Globular-bodied ceramic with a brown-red lead glaze.
The large body rests on three short, stout feet. A vertical handle extends from the neck. Small pouring spout.
This stoneware pot was made in the Rhineland around the 15th century. It is covered with a fine lead glaze, mainly on the inside to ensure its waterproofness.
Item in excellent condition, with no restorations - minor chips.
Germany, Raeren region, around the 15th century.
