Beige terracotta Phoenician plate.
Plate resting on a circular base, hollowed bottom, wide rim slightly inclined.
Phoenician art, Punic period, 600 to 300 BC.
Under the base, an inscription from 1899 in Carthage.
Carthage is an important archaeological site located in the northwestern region of Tunisia, founded in 814 BC by Queen Dido.
Dimensions: Diameter 13.9 cm - height 3.6 cm
Good condition - restoration at the edge
Provenance information: France, M.T.R. gallery.
