Roman oil lamp made of ceramic covered with a beige-orange engobe.
Circular reservoir, rounded spout. The band is decorated with two raised volutes.
The disk is adorned with a winged victory walking to the right, holding a staff and a shield.
Dimensions: length 11.3 cm - width 8.4 cm.
Lamp in excellent condition - some calcium deposits
Roman Empire, Italy
Dating: 1st century BC, the principate of Augustus.
Excellent condition - no restoration.
Provenance: France, Galerie D.H.Y.
French collection transmitted by inheritance
