A fine antique set consisting of a coffee pot and a sugar bowl, made by the English house James Dixon & Sons (Sheffield), marked VBC, known for the quality of its metal plated production around the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.
The pieces are nickel-plated, finely decorated with engraved floral motifs, with worked bases and elegantly sculpted handles.
The covers are adorned with button-shaped handles featuring floral designs, characteristic of the late Victorian period.
The visible hallmarks on the pieces confirm their English origin and manufacturing by James Dixon & Sons, a house founded in 1806 in Sheffield, renowned for its high-quality plated silverware.
Good overall condition considering its age.
Signs of age-related patina, micro-scratches, and light marks consistent with the item's age.
