Extremely rare plate with a Templar cross used by the Knights Hospitaller of Saint John of Jerusalem.
In very good condition with a beautiful dark natural patina.
North of Germany
Material: bronze
Medieval Period, 11th-13th centuries AD.
Measurements, 13 mm diameter.
Weight: 1.72 grams.
Condition: Excellent
Origin:
Purchased by the current owner in 2004 in Austria, Vienna, at the antique fair.
Collected since: 1980s.
History of previous owners: Former Austrian private collection formed in 1980.
This article does not require an export license within the EU.
