Italian small cabinet with two drawers, in the style of Louis XV, made circa 1940.
The furniture features a refined veneering in precious wood with geometric inlays in a diamond pattern, typical of the Italian cabinet-making tradition of the period.
The structure is curved, with bulged sides and front, resting on arched legs.
The surface is made of polychrome marble (likely Mediterranean marble, such as Broccatello/Emperador), with a shaped profile, in good conservation condition and consistent with the furniture.
The handles, vents, and applications are made of patinated bronze, finely crafted, with plant motifs and rocaille decorations, compatible in style and period.
Equipped with a key.
Condition
Good overall condition, with normal signs of age and use, consistent with the age of the furniture.
No obvious invasive restorations are reported; conservative interventions may be possible over time.
