Remarkable statuette of a victorious Lokapala warrior standing and crushing a spirit, with a headdress featuring a peacock feather.
Ochre terracotta with polychrome painted decoration.

Mingqi are funeral ritual figurines representing beings meant to serve the deceased in the afterlife.
This statuette was a protective figure.

Dimensions: 53 x 20 x 15 cm.
Restoration on the right branch of the crown.
Polychrome very well preserved.

Customs taxes are included in the delivery for international shipments.
The packaging will be carefully tailored and secured with confidence.
