Description from the seller

Magnificent and sumptuous 19th-century cylindrical box. I have no idea what its original use was, so I welcome insights from those knowledgeable. If you acquire it, please don't hesitate to tell me more about this unusual object and its provenance. Thank you in advance.

12.5 cm in height and 6 cm in diameter.
In good condition. Please carefully examine the photos, as they serve as a description.

Medium-sized Moroccan jewelry box. It has two very beautifully decorated handles in a polygonal shape. Silver-colored metal. Note at the bottom that it has four round feet. The product has not been cleaned.
Size: 17 x 11.5 x 15 cm
Weight: 0.7kg

It will be a superb piece for your passion for rare antique objects.
Sold as is. Please check all the photos; they are an important part of the description and the best indication of the condition.

Erhard & Sohne – round covered box in mahogany and brass, German art and craftsmanship, circa 1905. Unsigned.
Inlaid with brass in a fabulous and rare German Jugendstil Art Nouveau style. The rich wood shows signs of fatigue with a slightly worn patina and will obviously need cleaning.
Erhard Sohne obtained the worldwide patent for the manufacturing of brass inlays in 1904.

Diameter 11 cm
Height: approximately 7 cm

Nautilus shell mounted in a powder puff pear shape? With a chatelaine accessory? The mouthpiece is adorned with antique silver-colored metal. By the way, I don't know if it is, but I don't see any hallmark.

9.5 cm

In good condition but will need cleaning.
