Description from the seller

This lot features a Japanese Deba kitchen knife (包丁) made by 宗丹 (Sōtan).
The knife has a 17 cm stainless steel blade and a traditional wooden handle.

The knife has been stored unused in its box for many years.
There is some dirt and age-related wear on the handle, and the blade bears an engraving reading “Yamaei Propane”, which is believed to be the name of the original retailer or store.
Please purchase only if you are comfortable with this engraving.

The original wooden box is shown for reference only and will not be included, as it is heavily soiled and will be disposed of.
Only the knife itself will be carefully packed and shipped.

Please examine the photos closely to confirm the condition of the blade and handle.

A solid example of a traditional Japanese deba knife, suitable for collectors, professional users, or enthusiasts of Japanese kitchen tools.

Method of Shipment

FedEx or Japan Post
