Valuable table service for eight people from the famous manufacturer RICHARD GINORI of Doccia.

The service consists of dishes and serving pieces marked Richard Ginori with three stars, dating back to the 1930s.

Very fine porcelain, with an elegant and refined decoration featuring gold filigree and a sophisticated modern floral decalcomania in shocking pink tones. The flowers on these plates have a modern design, different from the usual flowers of Richard Ginori tableware. Indeed, the Richard Ginori brand with the three stars dates back to the period when Gio Ponti was the artistic director of the Doccia manufactory. Certainly, this decoration was influenced by the great Italian designer.

Classic style, in use since 1790, sobriety and style: an expression of Richard Ginori's savoir-faire and craftsmanship.

The item is in good overall condition, with the gold edge still pleasantly visible and the decals still vivid and bright. The lid of the soup tureen is a replacement from another Richard Ginori tureen. Two trays and two plates have small chips, as highlighted in the photographs.

All defects are due to age — the service is nearly 100 years old — and the use of the set, but all the small signs of time attest to the authenticity and history of the service, enhancing its charm and style, true to the excellence of made in Italy.
