This 1 lev silver coin was minted in Sofia in 1913 during the reign of Ferdinand I, the monarch who led Bulgaria through a period of significant geopolitical changes. The obverse features a profile portrait of the tsar with a laureate bust facing left, while the reverse displays the face value flanked by wheat ears, laurel branches, and roses, symbolic elements of prosperity and peace.
